BIOGRAPHY
I first started paddling when I was 8 years old. A year later I began competing; I took part in competitions of both sprint and slalom kayaking, when I reached the age of 12 I decided to specialise in Canoe Slalom, as it was the discipline I enjoyed the most. I was awarded National Champion in my age category for 4 consecutive years from 2008-2011. Since, I have competed for England multiple years in the Pan Celtic Cup Race Series, and represented Team GB in the Youth Olympics in 2014 where I recalled my previous experience in the Sprint discipline to compete in both Kayak Sprint and Kayak Slalom.
I am currently studying Product Design Engineering at The University of Derby. Currently in my final year I am training 6 days a week; around my academic commitments. My training, involves excersising both on and off the water; I do most of my training in a boat at the National Whitewater Sports Centre in Nottingham, I make use of the gym facilities at the Nottingham Trent University thanks to my support from TASS.

I am a member of Stafford and Stone Canoe Club, which I compete for in the National Ranking Races.
